Mary + Jordan’s Country Engagement

When I asked Mary and Jordan what their top 3 favourite things to do together are, they told me, “Travelling, watching sports, and going for drives.” They love going for drives because “this is where we have our best chats and sing along to the radio.” It should have come as no surprise that these two chose the middle of nowhere for their engagement photography. Our session took place in Park Head near Port Elgin. We wound our way down a steep hill to get to the water and the view of the rustic old dam.

Here, in this truly off-the-beaten path spot, these two were free to totally let go and be themselves. Which is important. To me, and to Mary and Jordan. Jordan puts it best when he says, “I knew I loved her when I could just be myself around her.” So we went somewhere they could just be themselves. Where they could snuggle, or laugh, or do whatever came naturally to them.
