It was stinking hot and humid when I met the Eagles family for a session on the beach. We spent the next couple hours drenching our feet in the vain attempt to keep cool. I left soaked in sweat and absolutely exhausted, yet I had so much fun that I stayed up past my bedtime sorting through the photos. I am a huge proponent of the words “cute” and “adorable”, but those words simply don’t describe the essence of the Eagles family. Take a wild guess at which “happy accident” made my favourite capture of the evening.

I met the Kotzeffs on a rainy Sunday morning at their farm outside of Owen Sound. For 2 hours we challenged the weather, walking, running, and picking flowers all around their beautiful home. What fun for a cold and wet session!

Kayla and Greg won one of my Facebook contests. Perfect timing, too, because not only are they getting married in 2013, but they are expecting their first little one this July! They are beginning a new chapter in their lives and there is so much to look forward to. I’m glad I was able to be a part of all the excitement and memorialize the very beginning of their new family.
