Lindsay and Colin have been together for 10 years! After four degrees, hundreds of early-morning dance parties, a ton of hockey games, and lots of loving reminders from Colin’s new mother-in-law, the two finally tied the knot on a warm and breezy afternoon among close family and friends. Lindsay couldn’t stop smiling while she counted down the minutes until she was married (and then counted up the minutes she had been married). Colin was his normal jolly, and laid-back self, entirely enthralled by his beautiful bride.

Despite some light rain, the day turned out perfectly, and I was honoured to be a part of your wedding day. Congratulations Lindsay and Colin!

I met the Kotzeffs on a rainy Sunday morning at their farm outside of Owen Sound. For 2 hours we challenged the weather, walking, running, and picking flowers all around their beautiful home. What fun for a cold and wet session!

Jenna and Adam told me right off the bat, “We have trouble looking serious in photos.” And sure enough they were either giggling or making dorky faces the entire time we were together. I also think they achieved the only combination of plaids that works. What a blast!

You two are too goofy. Congratulations on 6 years and especially your engagement.

Tanya and Wally were married on September 10th. Last weekend we met up for a newlywed session to see if we could get a little more milage out of Tanya’s dress; we did.

I had so much fun with you two. Your wedding was lovely, and it was great to see you thoroughly enjoying your special day–and especially having your photo taken! Tanya you are such a gorgeous bride and are frighteningly talented in heels. I loved your response to doing something cheesy, Wally: “Cheese is her middle name!” I can’t wait for your trash the dress session!

My cousin, Erika, is visiting! I dragged her outside last night to take some fun photos in the front yard. After all the hay has been cut and baled, so how could I not? Erika even admitted, despite her trepidation, that she had fun!

Amy and Dave, sharing your wedding day with you felt more like spending the day with friends than working. Your happiness was plastered all over your faces–especially when your lips started to quiver, Dave, when you saw your bride in her dress for the first time. My directions to you were largely unnecessary because you two were delightfully adorable all day. Congratulations on your beautiful wedding day, and I hope you enjoy your preview!

Paige and Howard make one of those couples that drive people mad with how cute they are. Little smooches and making cute faces at each other seems to be one of their favourite pass times. They are back to London, UK this week. I’ll see them again in June for their wedding! Can’t wait!

It’s been a year since Kate and Jason’s engagement session and finally this weekend I had the chance to photograph their wedding! Despite the pouring rain it was a beautiful ceremony. Both traditional and unique, there was so much love in the converted reception hall.
