Something that has always bothered me about photography was how seldom I see diversity. Every photographer shows the same content on their social media, their website, and on their walls. But, while all individuals and families are different, they are all equally the same and deserving of same celebration and representation. And I don’t just say that… I walk the talk. I take diverse family photos.
When Muna reached out to me saying that she and her husband were celebrating their anniversary, and they wanted to get out of the city for a day with their 18-month-old, I jumped at the chance! Was it worth it? Absolutely!
