Step 1: Your Consultation
As you now know, the first step is to book our consultation. This is the time when we sit down together, make sure we like each other and that I’m the right fit for your family. As you can imagine, it’s important that you like me… otherwise, our time together might feel awkward. So this is where we’ll start.
Step 2: Planning Your Session
So many parents admit to me that they are nervous their kids will misbehave. And it’s not uncommon. I’ve witnessed many temper tantrums! But with the proper planning, I can help you prepare your kids to behave, and yourself to calmly work through a tantrum. I’ll also help you pick the best location for your family, plan your wardrobe, and start dreaming up how you’ll show off your photos in your home.
Step 3: Your Session
I’ll arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to get set up for your session. I recommend you arrive a bit early as well! The timing of your session is not an accident. I’ll plan for the right time of day for the absolute best lighting. So giving yourself a little extra time to arrive, introduce the kiddos, and let them get used to me.
Step 4: Photo Premier
We’ll schedule your photo premier about a week or two after your session. At your premier, we’ll sit down in my studio or office and you’ll see your photos for the first time! We’ll choose your favourites, discuss how you’d like them edited, and pick how you’d like to have your photos printed, finished, and displayed.
Step 5: Show Off
When your photos arrive, I’ll help you hang them! And if I do say so myself, they’ll look fabulous! Then it’s your turn to show off to your family and friends.
Step 6: Share
After your photo premier, I’ll upload a gallery of your photos. You can download all of your digital photographs from your gallery and share them on social media! And you can send that gallery to your family and friends so that they can order photos for their homes as well.
