Step 1: Your Consultation
As you now know, the first step is to book our official wedding consultation. This is the time when we sit down together, make sure we like each other and that I’m the right fit for your wedding, and build out your dream wedding photography collection.
Step 2: Your Contract & Retainer
To reserve your wedding date you must sign your wedding contract and pay for your retainer. I am paperless, which means that all of this can be handled online! After our consultation, I’ll send you a link to your secure portal where you can update your contact information, review and sign your contract, and pay your retainer (via email or credit card). This is also where you’ll fill out future worksheets and access all of your receipts and contracts in the future.
Step 3: Your Engagement
Your engagement session can take place any time of year. When planning this, we’ll take into account your favourite seasons and turnaround times for printed photos for invitations and wedding day decor. Your engagement photos will remain available in your gallery, and you’ll be able to share them with family and friends right through the wedding.
Step 4: Your Wedding
Prior to your wedding, we will create your wedding day plan! I’ll help you create the perfect, laid-back itinerary, taking into consideration all the most important wedding day moments, lighting, travel, and all the other details. We’ll build out your family photo list, I’ll get in touch with your vendors so that we are all prepared to work seamlessly together, and I’ll even introduce myself to your family and wedding party so that everyone is comfortable and ready for the camera when I arrive.
Step 5: Your Sneak Peek
Immediately after the wedding, I get to work creating your wedding day sneak peek! I know how quickly family and friends start hounding couples for photos from the wedding. So I do my best to release a sneak peek the following day. Your sneak peek includes a video slideshow, and your sneak peek images will be added to your gallery so you can immediately download them and start sharing!
Step 6: Your Album
Once your gallery is complete you may start downloading your photos, placing photo orders, and sharing your wedding day with everyone! I will design the first draft of your album taking into consideration the flow of the day to tell the best, most accurate story. I’ll ask you to choose your top 20-30 photographs and include those in your album. Once you receive your first draft we’ll work together to perfect the layout, fine-tune the images, and choose the perfect cover.
